Logistic Controller

Tasks

  • Set up a key performance indicator system based on existing SAP data enriched with forecasted volumes
  • Coordinate the information flow between sales organization, marketing, production and customer service
  • Develop an automated daily gathering, recording and reporting system inclusive trend analysis
  • Monitor, analyze and implement counter action if key performance indicators like delivery reliability are below target
  • Elaborate and fine-tune of most efficient shipping mode (air or sea transport) to customers and to central warehouses
  • Steer regular meetings within the customer service department to discuss key performance indicators and measurements
  • Support the processing of customer complaints and the implementation of corrective and preventive measures
  • Error correcting stock movement administration
  • Backup for other personnel in the department

Required education

Minimum Bachelor degree

Requirements

  • Proven business administrator knowledge in chosen field
  • Customer Service qualifications
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications and SAP database management
  • Minimum 5 years in a customer service department, sales or similar
  • Minimum 5 years as business controller for cost controlling or profit center controlling
  • First rate verbal and written communication skills in English are essential
  • Proven record remaining calm and customer focused under pressure
  • Task-oriented multi-task
  • In-depth understanding and application of customer excellence, but with balanced control, and patience
